“Chermayeff & Geismar Inc. NYC, created a new corporate identity for gas stations in Turkey and Bulgaria. The ID included a custom made version of one Roman, and one Cyrillic font that would carry on the style of the logo in further applications.

We chose Monotype Imaging repeatedly because we knew we could rely on their expertise and prompt delivery. Monotype Imaging is experienced in foreign non-Latin fonts and has reliable international resources.

The font development consisted of several steps including revisions on the character shapes and kerning, leading to the final digital Mac/PC version of the typeface supplied by Monotype Imaging. The completion time for the Turkish and the Bulgarian Cyrillic fonts was approximately a month.”
